Hey, I’m Irene! Multilingual mom, M.Ed and MA in Linguistics
After navigating four countries, juggling three languages at home, and surviving countless “wait, which language are we speaking right now?” moments, I know firsthand that every multilingual family’s journey is beautifully chaotic and completely unique. My academic background in Philology and Linguistics, plus years teaching in international environments across Europe, gave me the theory – but becoming a mom gave me the real wisdom.
Switzerland is home #4 (but who’s counting?), and our house is pure multilingual magic: two languages battling for airtime, German ruling school life, and English sneaking into every social moment. I’ve lived the overwhelm of preserving what connects us to our roots while equipping our kids to thrive in this multilingual world. I’m here to guide you through yours with strategies that actually work in real life.
